Problems. Day 12.

Day Twelve
I've realized that the hardest thing about this challenge isn't sticking to just thirty items (that's easy! I like my choices!), it's all the other stuff- what items have I already worn this week? which ones can I not wear because I'm planning to wear them tomorrow? which ones are clean?

That's where I am right now. I feel like I've worn this striped shirt a gazillion times (really only once so far in the challenge) and in order to wear it all the ways I imagined I could, I have to wear it at least five more times in the next 18 days. Hmmmm

Tempted. Day 11.

Day Eleven
Some thoughts:
1. Sorry I look so awkward. I was in a rush this morning.
2. I can't even remember the last time I wore a dress or a skirt to work.
3. I'm wearing two pairs of tights today.... and for some reason, it is way more comfortable than just wearing one.
4. I've had this dress for a few years, but have only worn it a handful of times (hence, adding it to my thirty). In fact, the only time I can remember wearing it was for Cara's 21st birthday. But that was back when I was younger/thinner/tanner/blonder. Ah, the good ole days
5. I had a meeting at West County Mall last night and since I had some time to kill beforehand, I made the mistake of wandering into Forever 21. Temptation alert! I fell in love with this dress, but don't worry, I didn't it.

Brewery Wedding

I haven't had a wedding post in a while... but aren't these pictures just perfect? They are from a wedding in Milwaukee, but remind me so much of St. Louis with the brick and the brewery. One time one of my friends told me that I would probably get engaged on a brewery tour. I bet she's right.

I wonder if AB or Schlafly does weddings...

Black on Black on Black. Day 10.

I know black is a staple, but I feel drenched in it today. I had planned on wearing this with my white tee, but oops, I wore that yesterday. And I'd like this better with black flats, but alas, they aren't on my list (nor are they practical for Missouri winters). At least I have my ruffle cardigan (a 'gift' of sorts from Chelsea) to break it all up.

So Hood. Day 9.

Day Nine

I'm wearing my blazer today for Everybody, Everywear but really wanted to dress it down. I'm tired. And it's really cold outside. So I'm happy I've got this cozy hooded sweatshirt on to keep me warm and comfy.

Oh, and it's outfit number nine in the 30x30 challenge. Which reminds me that last week (on my snow day), I watched the movie Nine. No, not the one with the the alien sock puppets, the musical one. And Fergie was in it and had a really awesome number. Seriously. So why did she sound awful at the Superbowl? I don't get it.

Here's a clip for your viewing pleasure.

PKSTL

Court Sloger's Metro presentation was my favorite at PKSTL. I'm slightly embarrassed to admit it gave me goosebumps. Sigh.
