I Love Weddings (Lesley & Dave Edition)

Lesley & Dave's Same Day Edit from Millennium Productions on Vimeo.

I love weddings. Being in them, going to them, planning showers and bachelorette parties and all of it.

A few weeks ago, I got to stand by one of my oldest friends to watch her marry her high school sweetheart at The Pageant, and it was so fun, and so beautiful. It may be cliche, but #blessed.

Looking Forward To {September 2014}

  • the Love Party of the decade
  • a month of music with Loufest in Forest Park, Roots n' Blues in Columbia, and the final Point Summer Show at the end of the month
  • more yoga
  • a couple farmer's market Saturdays with fall goodies like apples and kale
  • cherishing these dog days of summer with as many outdoor events, iced coffee and patios as possible before making the switch to warm lattes and firepits.

So Fancy

Minnick Wedding Teaser from TJ Ingrassia on Vimeo.

This weekend was so amazing. Reliving it by liking every photo on Facebook, and watching this video over and over and over.

So fancy. #charlesandmeg

Fiesta On My Mind

In the midst of planning a "Margaritas and Monograms" bridal shower and obsessed with the bright color pallate of pink, purple, lime, orange and yellow.

Cheers! A Wine Bar Engagement Party

Was so excited to help plan an engagement party for Megan and Charles a couple weeks ago! Put some Pinterest inspiration to good use with the cake topper, splatter-painted balloons and a wine bottle 'guest book.' I lucked out with this bottle of Falcor, too. The back of the bottle, in describing the wine, talked about how it was a classic with 'strength and longevity' that you'd be able to enjoy for years to come. Appropriate for an engagement party, no?

Party was at Sasha's on Shaw / Cake by Pint Size Bakery with a topper by michiemay paperie / Invite by Blue Bus Creatives / Banner by Cara

Always a Bridesmaid

So happy to be a bridesmaid in this girl's wedding. June 14, 2014 is going to be the party of the year... and the festivities leading up to it (starting with an enegagement party in a couple weeks) are going to be amazing.

Wedding Season, Vol. 4

Wedding #4

Recently went to (what I think) is my final wedding of the year. It was for a coworker at the planetarium, so the goal was to keep it classy, kind of conservative, but still interesting.

{black peplum dress from Target, pink necklace from Bauble Bar, Color Club Foil Collection gold polish, classic black pumps and hair inspiration from Blake}

Went to a Wedding (Vol. 3)

Forgot to take many pictures at Sarah and Cory's wedding this past weekend, and the ones I did try to take all came out blurry and un-blogworthy. Boo. This group shot (borrowed from a friend on Facebook) is pretty awesome though. I love it.

A heartfelt ceremony in Ferguson, classy reception at Windows on Washington, a stunning bride, a happy couple and great friends. A great way to spend a Saturday night.

Went to A(nother) Wedding

Wedding 1

... and wore (something like) this.

The only one of these items I actually own is the printed maxi from Alloy. I paired it items very similar to these - my wedges and gold/bronze stacked rings were from Target ; bronze teardrop earrings and navy clutch from Mom ; gold/diamond bangle from Swirl ; and a pink/coral Revlon nail polish.

Photobooth Fun

A wedding without a photobooth is barely a wedding at all.

Just a quick post to show you what I wore to my friend Rachel's wedding this past weekend in Kansas City Independence, Missouri and then it's a blogging hiatus for me. I'm swamped at work, have to go get my car licensed, and oh yeah, my basement is flooded.

I know posts with this many pictures are annoying.... Welp, sorry I'm not sorry. Ryan & Abbi's wedding was so amazing, I had trouble narrowing it down to just these ten for the blog post! From the wedding at St. Gabriel in South City; photo stops at Ted Drewes, Francis Park and Cherokee Street ('the urban setting') on a seriously AMAZING party bus; to the reception at the Hilton at the Ballpark.... the whole day was absolutely perfect.

Love you guys!

(And want to see what I wore to the wedding? Check out yesterday's outfit post!)
